It's a fact of life in the IT world: hardware issues do pop up. Hardware manufacturers try their best, but configuration errors or bad components sometimes make it into finished products. We understand that getting your hardware repaired or replaced is a paramount concern. Fortunately, there are some things we can do.
If you have received a product that was damaged, and have had possession of the item for less than thirty (30) days, we can normally get it replaced with only a minimum of trouble. This is not always the case, but we'll try this first.
Please note that there are return restrictions regarding certain items and manufacturers. Please take a moment and review them here before proceeding.
If you still wish to return or replace an item, follow the link on the left to our RMA & Replacement Page, and give us the details. We'll start the process on our end when we receive your request.
Unless otherwise noted, CT&L only supplies brand new hardware that carries the full manufacturer's warranty. Those warranties cover hardware failures or defects within the warranty period. The warranty terms and conditions vary in length and scope, but all are detailed in documentation provided with the product.
Typically, CT&L cannot intervene in a warranty claim, as most manufacturers require the claim to be made by the end user of the equipment. The user must contact the manufacturer to pursue warranty service. This includes lease transactions where CT&L owns the item in need of service.
Additionally, please note that the manufacturer warranties DO NOT cover software or configuration issues resulting from enduser actions. While they can assist you in correcting the problem, they will charge you for their services.
